Kiasu Spirit

Its really very saddening to see how Singaporeans behave.
There is still very nice singaporeans out there,
but minority arent very nice!
Yesterday i was waiting at Causeway point woodlands for baby to change his car lisence.
Velle was sleeping in her stroller,
so i decide to walk around the mall to kill them.
As all mummies know,
its dangerous to use the escalator,
so i used the lift.
Usually the lift area is packed with ppl waiting,
so i just line up behind those ppl (obviously)
But once the lift comes,
those aunties and whosoever just rush pass me to enter the lift.
WHAT THE?!
Nevermind,
i waited for the 2nd lift,
obviously more KIASU ppl rush in before me.
And i missed the 2nd one.
And for the 3rd lift,
i am also the last to squeeze in.
Take lift also must FIGHT!
Siao de,
excuse me, you see a lady with a stroller,
can you just let her enter firsT???
You wont die if u miss one lift righT?
Just wait for your turn ok???
Lets not start with those people who SEES me and not press the button to open the lift door.
Haiii......
Not only all these,
Singapore do not have much ramps for strollers and wheelchair.
Even there is,
un-handicap people will be walking on those.
HEllo?????
I still need time to adjust back to the life here.
Everything is rush rush rush....
Bus rush, train rush, lift rush, traffic light rush, waiting to pay for things also rush!!
Can you take a step back to give me my space????
I also observe one very funny habit.
In USA, when angmos stare at you,
they will stare proudly,
even if i notice them looking at me,
they will give me a smile and i would smile back.
But in Singapore,
i spot ppl staring,
they will look away super fast!
Stare then stare lar,
just smile, no need paiseh look away ok?

Vivocity

Today we went Vivocity because i want to check out their wet and dry playground.
Velle likes water very much,
plus weather so warm,
just nice can play until she shiok!
Since we reached back SG,
we did lots of stupid and funny things like going to places that already close down etc etc etc.
Today we wanted to sit the cable car,
went to the infomation counter to ask where the place is,
then realise its is close for renovation =.=
We went to toysrus to check out the prices of the toys.
OMG! Singapore toys are so so expensive!
I saw that the jumperoo is selling at 259 there!
I can totally sell my almost new de for $150 lor,
who is interested? LOL!
We let velle run freely at the sky garden
Velle smiling sweetly at a random lady who keeps snapping pictures of velle.
Velle smile le, then quickly run back to us to hide. LOL
I went into a baby clothing shop at Vivo.
They sell oshkosh and carters clothing for babies.
WOW!
I saw lots of clothings selling at around $50,
but can be found less than $10usd in USA.
I wish i bought more there!
This little boy, i tink his name is ryan.
Totally remind me of bryston.
Because they both love to pull velle's hair.
He pulled velle's hair twice,
totally is aim her de.
Came to kajiao velle again.
This time velle push his hands away,
telling him not to bother her,
she is not sharing her water. LOL
This little malay boy so cute!
Once she saw velle standing there,
quickly grab her to stand up for support...
LOL!
Then they both hug for few seconds.
REAL CUTE DE
One side all babies playing,
the other side all parent snapping their precious.
Happy happy happy.
Play until dont want to leave.
When people play with her,
ji tao stunn there like a block.
Sometimes the face look like want to cry.
Playing with the toy vending machine as mummy makes milk.

Courts

Today we went Courts and Ikea to look for a new wardrobe for our clothes.
After 2 years, we have really collected tonnes of clothings in USA. HEE!
( As im typing now, there is a sudden downpour, so weird.. No signal de)
Anyway,
Ikea items are really pretty, but filmsy.
So we bought a wardrobe at courts,
and baby got me a dressing table!!!!!!!
Thank you my darling!
I always tell him that im all grown up now,
and i should have one. WAHAHAHAH!
Items will be delivered on Tuesday!
Cant wait!
Lunch at Sakae.
Velle seems to eat more in Singapore,
think she prefer asian food!
Velle seems to be all smarter now !
She seems to be trying to manipulate us with whines and cries.
And she can imitate us very well.
Just now,
i taught her to nod her head for yes and shake her head for no,
and she did it!
Super cute!
SHe even says NO~!
And when i ask if she wants to drink water or any other thing,
i expect her to answer me with something,
if she dont i will ask her a few times.
SO SO CUTE!
Today is a tiring day for me~
I seem to feel all sleepy in the noon suddenly.
Just now i went to buy food in the coffe shop,
the man buey tahan ask me , is velle my daughter.
LOL!
From his looks,
i feel that if he dont ask,
his heart will feel very itchy. LOL!

Childcare

Soon i will be putting velle into a childcare so i could work,
and continue my passion of teaching and being with kids.
Velle can also learn more with other kids and other teachers.
Yesterday i went back to Learning Vision at GC to surprise BEL!
My darling girl had never change,
and somehow the relationship between us had never change too.
Am glad (:
GC has always been out of my budget for velle,
because of their high fees.
Their infant care fees are about 1.3k per child.
I totally cannot afford that at all,
but the principal quote me a price i cannot resist!
Its a really really good price for the the environment and aircon!
Velle needs the air con!
Their Toddler class fee is even better!
Super tempted by it...
But the only exchange is........
I need to work for her.
So velle and me will be in same school >.<
Some of my concerns are :
1) Teachers dare not discipline her
2) She dont listen/ not scare of teachers cause they are my friends
3) Sticky to me!
4) Fear i might show bias-ness
But first i want to get my infant cert!
But who is going to take care of her for me? hmmmm

Randomly

Weather in Sg is really warm warm warm!
I think it only gets hotter and hotter as the days pass.
Velle is trying to adapt still,
she is very not use to many people and the hot weather.
Today my mum went back to work,
my sis is working too.
Velle resume to her normal happy self just like always,
doing all sorts of cute and funny things.
But she only function properly as i describe in aircon.
So we try to on the air con in daytime.
Also, i realise we got lots of stares after we mysterious appear back in Serangoon.
The hawkers doesnt recognise us anymore,
but from the way they stare at us ( i saw it with the side of my eye)
They just be wondering why we have a BB so young,
and like why we suddenly appear out of no where.
The day before we left Dallas,
Bruce(lili's hubby) treated us dinner at Outback,
and after dinner we went KTV, lewis' turn to treat.
Lucky we bring her car seat on board the plane,
this is how she slept in the plane.
Entertainment on SQ
On a 15 hours flight........
Thankfully the flight seems really short and enjoyable to us.
We still look v happy huh.
Transit at HK.
Our last 3 hours flight back to Singapore.
Once we touch down in SG!!!
Dont we look normal?!
I mean i imgained that we will be zombie like after 20 over hours of plane rides. LOL
And thats the phone i gotten ytd.
We were totally freaks at Starhub ytd,
asking nonsensical qns and stuff.
But in the end lewis even make friend with the staff,
and exchange number.
Sibei ang mo de.. LOL
Dont u think my phone is very gossip girl-y?
