Red River Peach Orchard
8:49 AM
June 28, 2014
Drove down 1 hr to a peach farm to experience some peach picking!
I was told that the grass will be tall and scratchy but i still wore shorts ( never die before)
We set off rather early( i think), and tadah! WE REACHED!
Have to thank the men for driving the long distance hehehe
Behind us are the peach trees…
I expect them to be taller though
Farmer husband and wife pass us a bucket and off we go!
We actually should have went when the peaches are bigger and juicier,
they are rather tiny at the time we went.
Velle was very cooperative and patient, while i keep snapping away.
What you don't know behind all these smile are the grasshoppers and creepy bugs hopping around!
WTHHH
Every step we take, they will be like 20 grasshoppers hopping away from us.
ITS IS SO GROSS, and all i can say to her is "keep looking up, don't look down"
Purposely wore peach/coral for velle and I, so that we can match the peaches.
Hubby was like " how about me?",
so i suggest him to wear blue, like the sky LOL
Very easy to bluff hahahaha
The girlies
The ladies
The hubby
The miniature Serene and Yanwen
Cant get a good shot of them… one of them is bound not to look at the cam
Taught them a cute pose, but it turns out like i am punishing them
( buey tahan the trendy mosquito patch lol)
X men
We left the peach farm, and went to a nearby Lavender farm.
Not worth the trip down because either the lavender have all withered/not bloom yet
But i have to say they smells really really really great!
It was a great day for me! We ended the day with korean bbq buffet!
And when we reached back home, hubby found out i don't eat peaches
and commented he don't want to bring me to a peach farm anymore LOL
I just thought that picking it will be fun ma.
